City Park

The Mt. Lake City Park in the center of town was a gift from the railroad with the stipulation that the block-square site remain as a park.  The green space with ample shade trees is equipped with a shelter house, gazebo donated by the Mt. Lake Lion’s Club, picnic tables, drinking water fountains, play equipment, public restrooms, basketball/volleyball courts, a Veteran’s Memorial and band shell.  The park plays an important part in the activities of the community, especially during the Pow Wow celebration.
