Island View Campground
NOTICE: The city campground will be open to all recreational, seasonal, and critical worker campers on May 1, 2025. Camp sites are first come first serve. Campers are asked to camp at their own risk. Please allow proper social distancing with other campers. The bathroom / shower house is cleaned regularly but please use at your own risk. Payments for number of nights stayed is due at the beginning of your stay. Please follow these rules while you stay.
Island View Campground is city owned and located at the corner of Prince St. and Golf Course Road. Call City Hall 507-427-2999 for more information.
The seventeen camping site are available on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations will not be taken.
Standard Rate is $30/night. All fees must be paid at the beginning of the stay.
A discounted monthly rate of $500 is available. All fees must be paid at the beginning of the stay.
A discounted seasonal rate of $1,900 is available. Campsites can be occupied from May 1 to Oct. 1 only. All fees must be paid in advance at City Hall. Permanent structures cannot be built.

Located at the intersection of Golf Course Rd. & Prince St. Two blocks N of the city’s wind turbine. 18 RV/trailer sites, pull-thrus. Elec./water/sewer. Fire rings & picnic tables. New bathroom/showers on-site. City park w/new playground. Biking/hiking trail. Golf course. Lake access. Fishing pier. Disc golf. Take Co. Rd. 27 exit off Hwy. 60 into Mt. Lake; follow Golf Course Dr., watch for signs.
